Romance in the Nation's Oldest City - sunset, water, dolphins, a 17th-century fort, a moonrise, a million holiday lights and a surprise engagement proposal!
Jimmy and Alyssa walked hand in hand through the historic streets of the city of St. Augustine, Florida. On their stroll, they made their way along the shore of Matanzas Bay where Jimmy proposed marriage. Well as you guessed; she said yes!
Jimmy and I coordinated the timing and placement and with the help of text and google earth we had a plan in place for me to capture the moment when he dropped to one knee. After photographing the proposal itself, I walked with them around our beautiful city. We created photographs at the Castillo de San Marcos (the oldest masonry fort in the continental the United States), along the bay, near the Bridge of Lions and with the famous Night of Lights display. We were even lucky enough to catch a moonrise!
Congratulations Jimmy and Alyssa
