We are proud to offer beautiful flush mount lay flat wedding albums for our clients to showcase their wedding story!

Why you need an album: Photographs should be an experience. When you buy a wedding album – you are buying the experience that your children, grandchildren (and even ancestors!) will have with your memories.  An album is what you will look at time and time again; you will get the album out and show relatives and friends. You will get it out on anniversaries and look through the pages; you will show your children and in years to come you will show your grandchildren. Looking at the images via disc on your computer or i-pad just isn’t the same. You just can’t compare an image on a screen to a professionally printed image, there’s something about seeing it on paper, being able to touch it, having something physical in your hands.

What makes our wedding albums different: Wedding albums range from a few hundred dollars to several thousands of dollars – And, yes, you get what you pay for. A common mistake we see brides make is settling on simply checking off a box on a photography package that includes an album – but remember, not all albums are created equal. We have sample albums here at the studio so you can make an informed choice on the right wedding album for you! Many modestly priced wedding books are press printed books similar to what you can order directly from, Blurb, Shutterfly or even through Apple’s iPhoto software – The books are great for what they are… simple books that make for great do-it-yourself family albums. The pages are thin, similar to a magazine or glossy paperback and printed using a four color printing method and the cover choices range from soft covers to hardback with a dust jacket to a printed hardback. The colors will fade, and the paper tends to deteriorate over time as well. There is little to no protection from the elements.

The albums we offer are produced by companies who do not sell directly to the general public and hence are not available to the DIY audience The spreads are seamless with lay-flat binding design, so when you open the book, you can see a panoramic shot of your ceremony go across the table… seamlessly. The pages are thick and sturdy giving the album a luxurious feel and make the page feel substantial.  There is no product that we know of in the consumer market that can compete with these high-quality albums. This means that while a DIY bride can design and produce an album on her own, the end result will never equate to a well-designed luxe album from the studio. The base cost of these books tends to be much, much higher than the standard DIY books.

The Process: We recommend choosing about 2-3 of your favorite images for each spread in your album. Or if you are having trouble narrowing down your list you can make it simple by letting us chose the images that we believe tell your wedding story best.  Either way, we meticulously design a layout of spreads showcasing the story of your beautiful day in the most expressive and meaningful way possible. We work with you on the nuances of the design, and after the design meets your approval (via online viewing or in studio review), it is then printed and bound into a beautiful album of the highest quality assuring it will be an heirloom for generations.

Our Lay Flat Custom Designed Wedding Albums are available with Fabric, Linen, Silk, Photo or Vegan Leather covers in a wide range of colors and sizes ranging from 5x5 inches to 11x14 inches.

We start with a basic ten spread (20 pages) album and offer upgrades in groups of 5 spreads; 15 spreads (30 pages), 20 spreads (40 pages), or 25 spreads (50 pages).  Albums can only be ordered in predetermined spread quantities.
