A few years back I photographed Bill and Lindsay's wedding as they exchanged vows on the beach near the Reef restaurant on Vilano. It was a beautiful event with wonderful people! So when Bill contacted me recently because his mother was in need of a wedding photographer, I was honored and excited! It's not only a compliment to have a referral, but fantastic to share a life moment with wedding clients again!
Alice and Sam had planned to perform their ceremony on the famous courtyard bridge of The Lightner Museum Building. When it was pouring rain, they were both calm and collected because they had a backup plan! Located in the corner of the Lightner, The Amore Wedding Chapel (Part of the Wedding Authority); made a great backup for Sam and Alice. It is a lovely little chapel perfect for an intimate ceremony! It was great to see the joy on Bill's face as we walked his mother down the aisle to marry her love: Sam!
After the ceremony and some family photos under shelter, the newlyweds used the umbrella we brought for them in some great pictures atop the bridge in spite of the rain!
We then ventured to the Casa Monica Hotel where they had a lovely low-key reception. It was wonderful to see Bill and Lindsay's beautiful kids running around the dance floor celebrating their grandmother's special day!
Congratulations Alice and Sam!
