RING IN THE NEW YEAR!

The only thing better than throwing one party is throwing two, and when Kristen and Thomas chose to join lives on New Years Eve, they new it had to be big. And boy was it ever! We asked them to tell us a little bit about their day.. “All the work and preparation that went into our day was completely worth it. From seeing old friends, to introducing our families, and most importantly, exchanging our vows; it couldn’t have been anymore perfect.” Once enter the gates at the Cottonwood Ranch you enter in a New World.

We asked the Lefcos to tell us a little bit about their love story “One evening back in February 2016, my first shift bartending at the Applebee's in Town Center Jacksonville I was being introduced to our service industry regulars. There was the Bahama Breeze group, Cheesecake factory, Maggiano's, and basically a group from every restaurant in the small area. Though I knew I was going to forget their names there was one guy from P.F. Chang's that stood out. Instead of just the usual "hi, nice to meet you," that everyone else was supplying. He had to be different and loud! His words were "Is your name KAISTEN?, I am from Germany KAISTEN!" I didn't know then but I was going to fall in love with that guy.

The service industry can take a lot from you and drag people to dark places, and it has taken from both of us. But it also lead us to meet.

We didn't start talking till June of 2016. For the first few months he was just the loud guy who made fun of my name and worked at Chang's. In May I came in when I was off work one night and that is when we actually started having meaningful conversations. On July 4th of 2016 he took me to meet his best friend and on July 10th of 2016 he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been on a rollercoaster ride since and I wouldn't change a thing.

We have made each other stronger and can not wait to celebrate our marriage with all our family and friends!”
