Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine Wedding - Casa Monica Hotel Reception

Melissa and Gordon had a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony in the historic Cathedral performed by Father Richard Pagano. Because I am the official photographer for the Catholic Diocese I have known Richard for years, photographing him for many magazine stories including a story of him in Seminary School in South Florida! It was a great surprise to see my friend (a relatively new priest) perform Melissa and Gordon's exchange of vows. The ceremony was delightful; you could see the love in the eyes of this beautiful couple.

After a few photos at the church and around town, we made our way to the Casa Monica to greet guests and celebrate! This wedding was a blast to photograph not only because Melissa and Gordon are super sweet and adorable together, but they had such great families who had a blast! I was amazed to see 200 guests all dancing at once during the reception! Many folks danced almost the entire time (except for eating of course)! Congratulations Melissa and Gordon!
