“We want to have a great time on our wedding day!” These words ring true for a lot of Monarch Studio’s couples, and for Jessica and Connor. These two were a powder keg of fun and we asked them to tell us a little bit about their love story.

“It was September 2013. Connor began working sales for Norwegian Cruise Line as a Personal Cruise Consultant, where Jessica was a veteran of 2 years.

Connor described Jessica as “the girl with the broken arm that always gets shout outs in department meetings”. She endearingly referred to him as “fresh meat” given his rookie status at the company.

Connor and Jessica later met through mutual friends and he eventually gathered up the courage to ask her out. He was both ecstatic and surprised that she said yes, since Connor knew Jessica was way out of his league.After enjoying a beautiful first date at an intimate waterfront Italian bistro, Connor drove Jessica home. She went to open her door to leave, but leaned back in and told him “I feel like I’ve known you for so long”.

5 years later, it’s hard to believe that “What are you doing this Sunday?” would be the most important question Connor would ever ask. (“Will you marry me?” was a close second)

A gorgeous proposal in Fort Lauderdale where we live eventually happened Septermber 23rd 2018, after celebrating and announcing the news to their friends and family Connor and Jessica set a date for marriage. After the date we eargerly picked St. Augustine for our wedding location due to the fact that Jessica grew up in the area and loves the holiday season & nights of lights that St. Augustine put together every year.

December 7th 2019 came and went in a flash and we were on to our lovely honeymoon to London & Italy for 10 days. We had an amazing time and now its back to real life :)”
