What a perfect day for not only Vincent and Amanda, but for us here at Monarch too. There is really no great feeling for us that to experience two seet people coming together with a wonderful collection of friends and families. Some say that 2020 has been a tough year, but with days like this there are still a lot of highlights.

We asked Amanda to tell us a little bit about the day. “Our big day was a dream come true. Starting with the big beautiful blue waterfall which was the big reason we chose the venue to the secluded and romantic Arbor Ballroom. Lindsay and her team at Coastal Celebrations made sure VJ never caught a glimpse of me, Zach made me feel beautiful, and Chad at White Tie made sure we danced all night long! The cigars were a huge hit and everything went off without hitch despite getting married during a pandemic!”

Wealso asked our couple to tell us a little bit about their love story. VJ and I met at a bar at a gathering for some friends. He managed to catch me and get my number before I ran out early that night. He was such a gentleman on our very first date and I was hooked. I had never had someone make me a complete priority every single day. (And that hasn't changed). Things moved fast, but about three months after our first date we moved in together. In February 2019 I was taking the bar exam and in Ohio it is a 3 day exam. After I finished the exam on the 3rd day I met VJ in Columbus so we could celebrate the completion of the exam. We had reservations for a nice dinner that night, but first we stopped on a bridge around sunset to check out the city skyline (VJ knows city skylines always amaze me). He asked me to close my eyes and when I opened them, he was down on one knee holding a ring and asking me to spend our lives together. Even better was the fact that one of his friends was there taking pictures of the whole thing! VJ and I are best friends and soul mates. I can't imagine spending every minute of every day with anyone else. Even on our worst days I love him with all I have! Thank you for being a big part of our wedding day!”
