I love photographing surprise proposals, and I always feel honored to be part of such a special moment in two people's lives, so I was super excited to shoot my friends Marc and Alyssa this past weekend! On a recent camping trip together my good friend Marc told me he was going to "pop the question"; I insisted that he have me photograph the moment!
So how did we surprise Alyssa? Co-conspirator Melissa told Alyssa she was going to a girl's beach night to bring in the spring solstice, she also strongly encouraged Alyssa to wear something fun and cute. Once on the beach, Alyssa rounded the corner to see her love awaiting her! Marc not only had her ring custom made but one for him as well, which she revealed in getting to put on his finger. (A little idea for folks looking to propose!)
